A little bit about me…
I am a registered psychologist and psychotherapist (RP) working with adult, individual clients based in Ontario, Canada.
I have worked in mental health since completing my M.A. degree in 2007 and went back to school for my doctoral training (Ph.D.) at the University of Toronto, OISE. I did my internship at CAMH in 2021-2022 and practicum placements in various school, community and private practice settings. I have also worked as a researcher, a university professor and in the corporate world as an Legal PA and HR professional. I currently work part-time as a psychologist in the Work, Stress and Health clinic at CAMH, doing assessments for clients who have experienced workplace psychological trauma (i.e., PTSD).
I am a practical person - I want you to understand your concerns and the options for treatment so that you feel informed when working together. Taking the step to seek help is the first and most important one!
I experience the joys and pressures of many roles, as a daughter, spouse, parent, therapist and friend. I enjoy reading fiction, relaxing in nature, learning facts about plants and animals and catching up on my favourite silly shows in the evenings.
